A Blue Moon is when there are two full moons in the same month.
A Super Moon is when the moon is at its closest proximity to the earth.
During a Total Lunar Eclipse, red light is reflected on the moon, hence a Blood Moon.
This line-up last occurred 150 years ago.
This Blue Moon gifts us with our second full Moon in January.
The Full Moon is in the fire sign Leo, ruled by the Sun. The Moon in this sign is passionate, expansive, enthusiastic and generous. Leo energy feels a strong desire to express creativity with confidence and flair. It’s time to call on our playful inner child to help us do this with ease and humor.
The Sun is in air sign Aquarius, ruled by Uranus. Aquarius is idealistic, innovative, humanitarian and holds a vision of possibilities for the future. These qualities assist us in making the positive changes that are needed both personally and collectively that can align us with that greater, positive vision.
This Total Lunar Eclipse reveals our connection with the life-giving power of the Sun as it illuminates the beauty of our feeling nature.
We have a great opportunity to open both our minds and hearts to the full potential of our life’s path. By attuning with these celestial energies we may discover we are ready to let our light shine.
“Like the Moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine!” Buddha
Enjoy!!!
