Full Moon in Aries-October 8, 2014
Total Lunar Eclipse
6:50 am EDT
This Full Moon is a total lunar eclipse, which adds the potential for major shifts in awareness. The Sun, Venus and Lunar North Node are all in the sign of Venus-ruled Libra. With Venus here in its own sign, there is additional emphasis on the importance of Love, Harmony, Balance and the need to look for the Beauty within oneself and within everyone. The Sun is spotlighting Venus as the (yin) feminine power, which supports, nurtures and loves. The Full Moon is in the opposite sign of Aries, ruled by Mars, the (yang) masculine planet of Action, Initiative and Assertive power. It is intensified by the conjunction with the Lunar South Node and Uranus, the planet of change, new insights and freedom.
Both the Sun and Moon are in a square configuration with Pluto, the planet of transformation. This square is a turning point.
At this time of the eclipse, we have the opportunity to create the “rainbow bridge” connecting the yin and yang, our inner female and male so that both are harmonized, individually and collectively.
It is time to take the leap!
Mercury Retrograde from Oct. 4-25 once again provides us with lots of opportunities to re-cognize the re-words that can show up in our daily life experiences. We are re-sponding to Mercury’s re-quest when we choose to reflect, review, re-examine, revise, release, realize, respect, relax, retreat or regroup. By re-membering to re-fresh our list of re words periodically, throughout the next few weeks, we will emerge from the retrograde having successfully partnered with the planet of communication and we’ll be ready for the rewarding gift of fresh starts.
