1:30 a.m. EST
The Winter Solstice is approaching. As the Sun moves into cardinal Earth sign Capricorn on Thursday, Dec. 21, at 11:27 a.m. EST, we experience the shortest day of the year and celebrate the return of the Light. Saturn leaves the sign of Sagittarius and enters its own sign of Capricorn on Dec. 19. Mercury ends its three-week retrograde cycle on Dec. 22.
The mutable fire sign Sagittarius rules the day as the Sun (solar identity) and Moon (emotions) conjoin. Close by is Saturn (life lessons) at the degree of the Galactic Center.
This makes for a powerful combination that illuminates and inspires.
Mercury (communication) and Venus (love and beauty) also light the sky in Sagittarian energy. (This is the fire sign ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion and blessings.)

With these five celestial bodies in Sagittarius, this New Moon offers a timely opportunity to ignite our optimism, seek new insights and share what is revealed.
As we endeavor to find the spark of light in the darkness, it grows and expands, lighting our way to greater understanding of our life’s story and the path we are drawn to follow into our future.
Happy New Moon!!
Happy Return of the Light!!
Happy Holidays!!
